As part of an industry-leading team, you will help deliver results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Consulting Sales and Accounts business group within Aon in Cleveland, OH. Support ranges from clerical and logistical matters to document production and the effective use of office applications. The EA responds promptly, thoughtfully, and effectively to changing work environments, changing priorities, and new situations. Additionally, the EA possesses the skills and ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with internal resources, clients (where applicable), and other parties in a global and virtual working environment. The Administrative Assistant is integral to the efficient workflow within the office environment. What the day will look like While no two days will look the same, a typical day can / will include: Displays excellent customer service skills and exceptional attention to detail Superior writing skills—grammar, punctuation, spelling, and proofreadingSuperior verbal and written communication skillsSchedule / coordinate meetings via Webex or in personDaily interaction with internal and external executive leaders as well as their EAs / AAs, coordinating projects and working independently; seeks out answers to questions, takes initiative, leverages network of resources to solve problems, Helping others understand or attain support with technology or facility requirementsProviding backup assistance to other EAs / AAs as applicable Support of executive level leaders, administrative activities that include:Email managementTime recordingFull calendar managementResearch, or other special projectsCoordinating complex meeting logistics on or off site; may include, but not limited to, budgeting, travel, room reservations, meeting room logistics and materials, and catering Actively participating in leadership meetings for follow ups and note taking when applicable How this opportunity is different Administrative Assistants are the backbone of our successful organization. Advanced level computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite and other programs as applicable. Professionalism and displays excellent customer service skills and exceptional attention to detail. Superior writing skills — grammar, punctuation, spelling, and proofreading. Superior verbal and written communication skills.works independently with a variety of individuals and teams. Demonstrates strong organizational and management skills. Models professional appearance and demeanor in a business casual environment. Demonstrates discretion on highly confidential matters. Suggests approaches for resolving problems.Maintains a high level of confidentiality. Self-motivated team player with ability to work independently under minimal supervision. Ability to effectively interact with clients and team members, always maintaining professionalism. Ability to work in a high paced, demanding environment.
