This position is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Management in all functions of the Department while adhering to maintenance programs; including the reporting program as outlined within departmental SOPs, to ensure critical functions are being performed and all details of projects and PM’s are clearly stated in writing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:
Maintain the documentation of the Preventive Maintenance Program (PM’s) including; printing PM’s each day by technician, entering all PM activity, comments and completion info into CMMS, maintain and generate reports, and managing paperwork and files.
Track and document all costs associated with any project and PM with weekly reporting
Maintain all paperwork for the Maintenance Department including; PM’s, Work Orders, SOPs, STRs, and department library
Maintain and generate departmental reports including; Monthly Downtime Statistics Report, Uncompleted PM Report, Uncompleted Work Orders Log, NCI tracking
Maintain and manage the flow of all departmental paperwork, inclusive of safety records
Assist Maintenance Manager and Supervisor with clerical duties
Perform receptionist duties within the Maintenance Office
Assist in procuring parts when needed.
Other duties as required by the Maintenance Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
Highly motivated self-starter who is willing to implement new processes and ideas with minimal supervision
Willingness to work overtime as required
Ability to carry out essential duties and responsibilities within safety guidelines
Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent acceptable – College preferred
Strong computer skills with ability to learn new systems, working knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, and Projects preferred
Communication Skills:
Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written skills of the English language
Physical Requirements / Environment:
Sit: Continuously, Stand/Walk: Occasionally
Lift/Carry: Occasionally (1-10 lbs.), Rarely (11-50 lbs.)
Other Physical Requirements:
Rarely; bend/stoop, squat, climb protected height, reach above shoulder (up to 2 ft.), crouch, kneel, balance, push/pull
Frequently; fine manipulation/keyboarding
