Description
The Inventory Planning Clerk 2 ensures security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, and system review. The Inventory Planning Clerk 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.
Responsibilities
The Inventory Planning Clerk 2 develops and executes replenishment strategies; conducts physical inventories and leads cycle counts. Analyzes and, when able, corrects cycle count discrepancies. Audits incoming and outgoing shipments to assure quality and accuracy. Compiles and documents all transactions for data entry. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Previous experience in an inventory position preferred
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally with multiple Humana departments
Experience working with Backorders, Out of Stocks and Return to Stocks and receiving
Must be willing to obtain a Pharmacy Tech in Training or Registered Pharmacy Technician license within 1 year of the role.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Elite Inventory Management System
Mobile Equipment Certified
Registered or Certified Pharmacy Technician
Mail Order Pharmacy or Retail Pharmacy experience
Additional Information
Schedule - Must be able to work a shift Monday thru Friday between the hours of 6am and 8pm. Exact schedule will be discussed at time of hire.
