What is Tyson Enterprise Data Management?
The Enterprise Data Management Team at Tyson Foods is building data capabilities of the future that will assist in the transformation of an 85-year-old company into the most modern food company in the world. How can I be part of Enterprise Data Management @ Tyson?
Reporting directly to the Enterprise Data Management Director, you will help define and execute the strategy, implementation, and ongoing administration of the Enterprise Data Management program to enable Tyson’s global data management transformation at scale. You will partner with IT to implement governance activities for master and business process data domains. You will facilitate a cross-functional governance committees across the organization. You will provide guidance for implementation of data governance activities within new areas of focus. You must be willing to go into a deep level of detail, while still maintaining a big-picture view to ensure alignment of people, processes and technology across Tyson to enable the governance processes.

Do you have experience in creating and implementing a data governance framework and operating model?
Are you a strong relationship builder who has worked with cross-functional teams to drive consensus and reach group decisions?
Do you have strong data acumen and understanding of governance processes?
Do you have experience presenting data frameworks and concepts to others in an easy to understand manner?
Have you had experience with large-scale change management programs?
Have you had experience leading efforts to improve data literacy across the enterprise?
Have you ever worked with a data governance and business glossary tool such as Collibra?

Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or Technology related field.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of work in data or governance functions with master data, data analytics, and/or data modeling. Collibra implementation knowledge/experience a plus but not required.
Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally with customers peers and management required. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required. Must be able to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment.
