Responsibilities

Conviva is seeking a dedicated, compassionate and cheerful BILINGUAL Receptionist 2 / Patient Relation Supervisor

who is interested in being part of a team that focuses on excellent service to others.

The Patient Relation Supervisor coordinates activities and functions for all areas with direct patient contact other than medical and provide ultimate customer service and follow thru. Position requires a high commitment to service excellence.

Essential Functions

Primarily responsible for overseeing all clerical positions which deal directly with members and providing the best customer service and resolution to issues.

Position is required to be fully knowledgeable of all benefit offers from the health plan.

Strong knowledge of all center functions/services of the departments

Will be required to back up Assistant Administrator in their absence.

Assures all clerical positions which deal directly with members comply with HIPAA regulations.

Abides by company policies and procedures

Evaluate associates, and makes recommendations accordingly to the administration.

Counsel and discipline associates when necessary with the presence of Administrator.

Maintain good communication with associates, on changes and updates of physician schedules.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Must be Bilingual English (read, write & speak) and Spanish (speak).

Experience in EMR systems such as E-Clinical Works, Epic, Athena Health, and/or NextGen.

Receptionist/clerical experience

Customer Service Skills & Training

Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting utilizing a computer-based practice management software system.

Ability to handle high call volume and multi‐task while providing an exceptional customer experience.

Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to remain calm and helpful even when dealing with upset customers

Foster teamwork and partnerships with cross‐functional departments to resolve issues and improve customer experience.

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Abilities/Skills

Excellent customer service, communication, telephone and strong organizational skills.

Able to handle multiple tasks and have a strong sense of team work.

Develops good interdepartmental relations within departments.

Create positive learning environment to new techniques along with management/supervisory skills.

Able to respect and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Able to follow policies and procedures and work flexible schedule.

Must be able to relate well with all levels of individuals within the organization.

Additional Information

Associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated, including booster, or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.
