Summary:
The Associate Health Administrator performs a variety of clerical tasks in support of the Nursing Department including: Creating files for new hires and enter into the Occupational Health Safety System (OHSS); maintain medical records in a neat and orderly fashion; ability to document in computerized medical records system; print and distribute reports as directed; answer telephone and refer to appropriate personnel as necessary; order and restock Occupational Health Services supplies; Filing, typing and copying and other clerical work as directed; schedule in-plant periodic assessments and/or referral appointments to outside healthcare providers; complete and process audiograms and conduct counseling when applicable; assist with health promotions and other educational projects ; complete OHSS data entry as directed by Manager Nursing or Supervisor Nursing; facilitate transfer of team member OHSS medical records as needed; facilitate the retrieval of terminated team member medical records from OHSS archives; performs medical records audits under the direction of the Manager Nursing Or Supervisor Nursing; translation for company physician and Occupational Health Staff if applicable and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Medical certification preferred.
Experience: Medical assistant required. Clerical work experience required.
Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual a plus.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Intermediate
