Responsibilities
Conviva is seeking a candidate to join our Team as a Switchboard Operator who has experience working in a medical office or healthcare facility. As well as experience working a switchboard or in an inbound call center. Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish, organized, with excellent time management, customer service, and computer skills with the ability to work under pressure. Must be detail oriented, have the ability to multi-task and be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences. The Switchboard Operator is responsible for handling all incoming calls in a friendly and professional manner, triaging calls to appropriate staff within the office.

Job Functions
Opens/closes the phone system following office procedures.
Pages staff and makes announcements as directed, including emergencies according to clinical protocols.
Prepares patient charts for next day appointments; creates all new patient charts.
Sorts and delivers mail to appropriate locations in a timely fashion.
Assists front desk and medical records as needed.
Screens and directs all calls to medical personnel according to office guidelines, both timely and accurately.
Provides outstanding customer service.
Required Qualifications
Must be Bilingual English (read, write & speak) and Spanish (speak).
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Proficient with medical terminology.
Excellent written and verbal, listening and communication skills.
This role is considered patient facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Working hours : Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM
