Human Resources Coordinator
to work
Part Time in our Herndon, VA location
. The HR Coordinator will be part of a professional, team-oriented organization implementing human resources initiatives across the organization.
JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing support for a wide variety of HR activities including: processing of employee lifecycle transactional work, HRIS data maintenance, invoice processing, report verifications and confidential filing. The HR Coordinator will support the HR function and will regularly and proactively participate in HR projects and identify process improvements.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Comply with the MSRC Management System.
Responsible for accurate and timely communication of employee information, to include written communications that are well organized and grammatically correct.
Ensure employee life-cycle transactions are accurately recorded, including preparing and maintaining employee files and entering employee information into HRIS system.
Perform necessary clerical functions for the HR function, and as necessary, region or division operations.
Assist with HR initiatives pertaining to compliance, hiring and recruiting, benefits, employee communication, coordination and processing of new hires, employee promotions, transfers and terminations, and maintaining accurate and well-organized employee, confidential and driver files.
Assist with other HR projects as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of 3 years of experience in administration and/or Human Resources, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
Desire and ability to be a fast learner in the principles and practices of human resources.
Ability to
manage multiple tasks with frequently changing priorities or unexpected events.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, including speaking, listening, and writing.
Strong interpersonal skills with colleagues at various levels and external vendors.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion throughout all employee interactions.
