Description

The Learning Design Professional 1 Intern follows established procedures and guidelines to provide timely and effective operational support to the centralized learning design team. The Learning Facilitation Professional 1 work assignments are often semi-routine, straightforward and of moderate complexity.

Responsibilities

The Learning Design Professional 1 Intern supports day-to-day business, coordination, and implementation of training program functions for participants throughout the organization, including but not limited to:

Organization management of training courses in within a central system

Transcribe, types, formats, and proofreads a variety of material (e.g., correspondence, invoices, contracts, meeting minutes, reports, speeches, and presentations) using word processing, presentation, graphics, and spreadsheet software.

Assisting with production design and providing appropriate materials.

Coordinates and assists with monitoring training personnel records to ensure that employees have met all company training requirements for company, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Assist with review of course evaluations to judge effectiveness of training sessions and to implement suggestions for improvements.

Researches and evaluates the relevance of online resources to complement the facilitated experience in the fields as appropriate.

Understands own work area professional concepts/standards, regulations, strategies, and operating standards.

Makes decisions regarding own work approach/priorities and follows direction. Work is managed and often guided by precedent and/or documented procedures/regulations/professional standards with some interpretation. Decisions typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments.

Required Qualifications

Transitioning Service Member eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge, or Military Spouse eligible to participate in the Military Spouse Fellowship Program

2 years office administration experience with a strong influence organizing and managing files and projects.

Minimum 3 years working knowledge with intermediate to advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite such as, SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Working knowledge with beginner to Intermediate proficiency using virtual communication platforms such as Zoom, WebEx, Teams,

Adaptable with new system integration platforms, and able to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical difficulties

Strong organization and attention to detail

Develop and maintain strong professional relationships

Ability to balance multiple initiatives including prioritizing competing projects

Preferred Qualifications

Associates degree in any field

Prior working knowledge with Medicaid or Insurance

Interview Format

If participating in a pre-recorded interview, you will respond to a set of interview questions via your phone. You should expect this interview to take 10-15 minutes.

If participating in an SMS Text interview, you will be asked a series of questions to which you will be using your cell phone to answer the questions provided. Expect this type of interview to last anywhere from 5- 10 minutes. Your recorded interview(s) via text and/or pre-recorded voice will be reviewed, and you will subsequently be informed if you will be moving forward to the next round of interviews.
