CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS This position is responsible for providing administrative support for the Global Sherwin Business Services group in Cleveland, Ohio. It includes Global Finance Transactions (Accounts Payable, General Accounting, Payroll) and Global Indirect Spend, Global Operations and Global Transactional Systems. Administrative support for this network includes a wide variety of tasks and activities, requiring the incumbent to acquire and retain a detailed knowledge of company operations, organizational procedures and personnel. DEPARTMENT ADMIN FUNCTIONS Perform a variety of administrative duties for the SVP, SBS and other SBS Leaders, including managing calendars, setting up meetings, processing expense reports, preparing correspondence, etc. Periodically review office supplies in stock and replenish as needed. Process supplier invoices for payment. Coordinate department meetings, including ordering supplies, meals, refreshments, etc. Assist with travel arrangements of leadership team as necessary Coordinate with facility maintenance and IT departments on the appearance and working order of the department itself, including cleaning, repairs, office/cubical changes, and audiovisual needs. Maintain and update the department intranet page Maintain seating chart and coordinate moves Serve as Emergency Response Coordinator for the department Manage company-wide fundraising initiatives Seek process improvement opportunities MEETING PLANNING Assist with the coordination of periodic department meetings, including preparation of presentations and other materials Coordinate other meetings or events (i.e., holiday events, retirement celebrations, etc.) for the department ONBOARDING PROCESS Assist management with the onboarding process of new team members through requesting user ID’s, systems access and procuring computer and other necessary equipment. Coordinate the summer intern onboarding process POSITION REQUIREMENTS FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: High School diploma Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: 8-10 Years prior administrative support experience Proven working knowledge of Word, Power point, Excel Basic IT support (i.e., laptops, printers, copiers) TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Required: Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel Printer and copier set up Knowledge of audio and visual conferencing equipment Clear and concise communication in verbal and written form Strong time management skills Attention to detail Customer service and team-oriented Ability to work independently Sherwin-Williams is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace.
