Office Assistant (3 months fixed term contract)
Location: Glasgow
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (35 hours per week)
An opportunity has arisen for an Office Assistant to join our Facilities team to provide support within our Glasgow office on a temporary basis.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing files and documents for scanning
Recording details of files/papers to be sent for offsite scanning accurately into a spreadsheet
Boxing up files ready for collection
Internal scanning of files/papers to our systems
Recording/scanning documents to the Firm’s archive system
Assisting with the set up and catering for meeting rooms
Assisting with the scanning of incoming mail
Assisting with the reorganisation of our offsite storage facility
Any other admin duties as required
Skills and experience required for this role include:
Good attention to detail and ability to use initiative within standard operating procedures
High levels of accuracy
IT literate – experience of using Microsoft Office, ability to enter and search for data in archive and case management systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good team player, adaptable
Previous experience of working in a similar role within a legal office environment would be advantageous.
