Our Finance team serves as a critical business partner responsible for managing all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management.
What will I be doing?
Technical resource and solution administration for Hotel Performance Analytics Managers (HPAs) who are directly supporting managed hotels and the Americas Operations team. Respond to other requests for information funneled through Workforce Performance including Time & Attendance, Operational Effectiveness, Payroll, and other Operations Finance requests.
Solve problems related to routine data and service needs. Utilize Microsoft Office 365 tools, PropPlan financial system, and Labor Management System to produce key data used by hotels and HPAs to support efficient labor management in the hotels. Produce standard reporting packages and develop improvements to reporting to streamline workload and improve products and services offered by Workforce performance. Support the integrity of Labor-Management System configurations in accordance with Hilton’s Standards Grid.
The Performance Analyst may respond to requests for information from several different members of the WP team on an as-needed basis but will report directly to one Sr. Manager. The Analyst may be called upon to fill in and handle some of the tasks of an HPA as needed, with supervision. As part of the WP team, foster and encourage standard methodologies in labor management through the exposure of opportunities and promotion of innovative solutions.
Business Analysis:
Work closely with assigned Workforce Performance team members to analyze data from various systems (SALT, PropPlan, LMS, HotStats) and produce important reporting
Implement financial strategies for property labor management as advised
Assist with the forecasting and budgeting processes as advised
Produce recurring reports such as the Labor Management System Performance Report and Weekly Top 10 Jobs Dashboard
Handle special projects as assigned
Monitoring & Planning Activities:
Conduct routine and ad-hoc analyses of labor metrics
Respond to routine requests for system access, general questions
Support Time & Attendance implementations and sustainability of consistency standards
Meetings & Communication Activities:
Provide labor meeting and labor management system support to HPAs
Run weekly labor meeting analytics and monitor utilization
Maintain records pertaining to property assignments, T&A system status, and shared files
Auditing & Systems Activities:
Supervise and report on labor standards alignment with budget and the GLMS Standards Grid using the “scorecard” process
Monitor and report on compliance with corporate reporting directives, methodologies, and deadlines
Supervise and report on alignment to SOPs striven to mitigate payroll inflation
Monitor return on invested capital and time resources
Check the validity of interfaced data from various systems including OA, Delphi, TimeSaver, and PropPlan.
Benchmark Activities:
Analyze and compare Labor-Management programs to corporate and industry standards using HotStats and internal PropPlan data
Coordinate labor data with P&L data; report findings to HPAs

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
One (1) year experience in hospitality operations, finance, or related work that supports time and labor management
One (1) year specialized experience creating sophisticated financial and analytical data
Expert in Excel and proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint
Travel as required, estimated 10% but may exceed 25% when vital
It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
BA/ BS Bachelor’s Degree, Master of Business Administration (MBA), or other related advanced degree
Two (2) years of hospitality industry experience
Labor Management System administrator experience (UniFocus, Kronos, or other) and/or Time & Attendance administrator experience (ADP TimeSaver, Kronos, UniFocus T&A, or other)
