We currently have a great opportunity for a Human Resources Coordinator for our Los Angeles office. Under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator will provide administrative support to the HR function while helping to drive HR initiatives that foster a high-performing and employee-engaged culture. This position will provide support on processes across many areas within HR including onboarding, offboarding, employee recognition, learning and development, performance management, reporting, employee records, and more. The HR Coordinator will also help facilitate a positive onboarding process by delivering new hire orientation on a regular basis and coordinating a brand-immersive induction experience. In addition, the HR Coordinator will perform customer service functions by answering general employee questions and requests.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain employee personnel files to ensure accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
Draft and process notifications for arrivals, changes, and departures to be communicated timely to key stakeholders.
Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation. This includes new hire calendar scheduling, providing user login credentials, providing support to ensure smooth transition to the firm, and drafting new hire announcements.
Assist with various duties for recently departed employees.
Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
Work collaboratively across various sub-functions of the HR team.
Assist with special HR projects as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
Must be proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality
Previous human resources experience is preferred
