Job Profile Summary

SUMMARY: The position holder will work in our Distribution Services group providing support to distribution operations leaders and will be assigned project work involving data collection and analysis for our locations around the country. This includes willingness to learn and demonstrate proficiency in the utilization of all transportation systems. This will require the individual to become very familiar with all aspects of our transportation contract and rating applications and processes. The selected individual will be responsible for managing the onboarding of new carriers and setting up the required data in our systems. Additionally the individual will keep negotiated transportation rates up-to-date in our systems. Our Distribution Administrators are expected to contribute to our success through innovative ideas and value creation.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High school diploma or higher required or a candidate in the process of earning their BA degree.

Experience: 3 plus years of office clerical experience. Previous experience in data collection and analysis a plus.

Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are required; must possess professional phone skills with both internal company contacts and external customers.

Computer Skills: Proficient in all Microsoft Basic programs.

Special Skills: A successful candidate for this position should possess the following: Be a motivated self-starter who has the desire to learn from others; ability to work independently or as part of a team; strong problem solving skills; time management and multitasking abilities; and strong interpersonal skills.
