SUMMARY
Global Asset Technologies LLC (GAT), a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified General Clerk II (HR). The General Clerk II (HR)
perform support services for non-GIN tasks that exceed the organic Task Force Marshall capabilities detailed within the PWS. Support includes but is not limited to the processing, administrative functions, and any other function necessary to train USAR and United States Navy Individual Augmentees (NIACT).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position, and are

intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.
Proficient in database management, including database design, management and query construction.
Demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities in developing and preparing military correspondence.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of the Army Reserve iPERMs process and access to the system.
Meet all requirements for personnel who have access to PII.
Demonstrate an advanced knowledge of using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, IWS, IWRS, ITRS, AKO My Forms, eMILPO, and all applicable modules and forms, as well as knowledge of US Army HR Programs and Procedures.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills and be able to keep accurate records.
Demonstrate knowledge of the ASAP Program (Army Substance Abuse Program); certification is good for (1) one year at no expense to the government.
Obtain Unit Prevention Leader (UPL) certification within 30 days of Task Order award.
Must be intimately familiar with the IRR/USAR mobilization and demobilization process to support our BPT IWP recall mission.
Must be able to follow procedures for in-processing incoming BN Cadre/Staff to Active Duty. Shall demonstrate knowledge of Army HR and Finance documentation relating to SRP and personnel management.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of the following data systems: DTS, DTMS, ITRS and Regional Level Application Software (RLAS).
May be required to walk, bending, stand, carry light items or drive an automobile. No special physical effort is required to perform duties.
Demonstrate knowledge of military personnel principles, concepts, legal requirements and methodology to gather facts, respond to questions, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide advisory services.
Ability to research regulation, analyze facts and identify problems, report findings, make conclusions, and recommend corrective or other appropriate actions is crucial.
Demonstrate knowledge of the mission, functions, and operations of organization(s) serviced. Report head count estimates for NIACT according to local SOP to Food Service Contract Management (FSCM) and McCrady Cafeteria Manager. Attend FS coordination meetings as required.

Required (Minimum) Qualifications
Basis understand Military S-1 (Administration) systems.
Must possess a valid U.S. state driver’s license, applicable for the type and class of vehicle being operated.
Be able to operate a Personal Computer with a functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (primarily Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Windows graphical user interface) and Data/web based systems required for task area performing work. Be able to troubleshoot common computer hardware & software problems.
Have a working knowledge of Army and Navy rank structure and military unit relationships (e.g., Company, Battalion, Brigade, Division, etc. and Navy equivalents).
Be able to work under stressful conditions and be physically able to demonstrate the training/support tasks to standard.
Have a working knowledge of mobilization/demobilization operations IAW FORSCOM Regulation 500-3-1 thru 500-3-5.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be able to pass extensive background investigation and pre-employment medical testing.
Must possess and maintain a SECRET clearance and pass a local security screening.
Must be able to articulate, speak, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Contractor shall maintain a high standard of dress and appearance (Business Casual).
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
Capable of understanding and applying written and verbal orders, rules and regulations.
Meet physical/health requirements for duties.
Must be able to follow Standard Codes of Conduct pertaining to interaction with Army and Navy Personnel.
Preferred
Experience in Military S-1(Administration).

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
