\u003cli\u003eResponsible and accountable for answering basic reference questions received from the KM Reference Service Desk providing the firm and the client with accurate information while providing the best value in a thorough and timely and manner. Requests could include: providing a copy of a survey, forwarding a copy of a presentation, locating a recent power point, retrieving a copy of a complaint, ordering an online resource, assisting with access to library products, etc.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eResponsible for conducting basic research requests in support of Research Librarians.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eResponsible for conducting triage on reference requests and projects to prioritize work and ensure all work is done in a timely manner.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eResponsible for asking appropriate questions, and to determine when independent judgment is required or where additional information is required from the attorney or manager to ensure that resources are used appropriately.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eResponsible for packaging information in a succinct manner, to avoid a data dump of materials and still provide a complete answer to the research question or project. Assist with information projects to find and organize data such as legislative tracking, census data, or other projects as needs arise.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eResponsible for the smooth daily maintenance of the firm\u0027s library. Possible tasks include: ensuring mail is opening timely, invoices are processed accurately and timely, and print and online materials are accessible by all appropriate firm users.\u003c/li\u003e

\u003cli\u003eProficient in Microsoft Office tools, and common library programs such as EOS or similar library catalog system\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eFamiliarity with online legal and non-legal research tools such as West, Lexis, Bloomberg, PACER, Courtlink, BNA, CCH, Hoovers, LRI, etc. The ability to utilize the correct tool for the correct question while providing the best value to the client and firm for basic research requests.\u003c/li\u003e
