Description
The Administrative Assistant 2 follows established procedures and guidelines to provide timely and effective secretarial support to an office, business unit, department, or other organization. The Administrative Assistant 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments.

The Administrative Assistant 2 transcribes, types, formats, and proofreads a variety of material (e.g., correspondence, invoices, contracts, meeting minutes, reports, speeches, and presentations) using word processing, presentation, graphics and spreadsheet software. Coordinates internal and external meetings which may involve scheduling meeting times, making travel arrangements for attendees, and ensuring that various meeting amenities are available. Manages the appointments and schedules of applicable staff. Additional responsibilities may include distributing incoming mail, preparing outgoing mail, filing, maintaining office supplies or other inventory. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction.
The Administrative Assistant will provide a variety of administrative and staff support services. You may support multiple leaders. In this position, responsibilities may include:
Assist in Bold Goal and Associate Engagement Initiatives
Coordinate/schedule meetings
Compose letters, memos and additional correspondences.
Compile agendas, reports & PowerPoint presentations for meetings.
Coordinate expense reports for submission, update organization charts, schedule travel and copy materials.
Responsible for ordering supplies as needed.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Ability to successfully navigate in Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, and specifically Excel
Ability to balance multiple initiatives, prioritize workload while being flexible with day to day responsibilities
Ability to manage multiple calendars and provide support within the Leadership team
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Must be self-motivated with a positive attitude and professional etiquette.
Capacity to maintain confidentiality and work independently in support of the department
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Temporary Work at home (WAH) requirements include a minimum internet connection speed of 10m x 1m, and a dedicated secure home workspace for interview or work purposes (see additional information)
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
Healthcare industry experience
