About the job
This position is needed to
develop and manage marketing and communications legal review processes, policies and training and advise on a wide variety of advertising claims, materials and programs.
Reporting to the Lead Product Counsel, this position is critical in supporting Twilio’s growing product counsel function and will work closely with engineering, product, marketing, corporate and other legal department teams.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
Lead the product marketing legal function for Twilio’s product counsel team.
Develop and manage policies and procedures for marketing reviews.
Implement training and awareness efforts for the product marketing teams across the organization to socialize the standardized policies and procedures for greater efficiency and visibility.
Ensure the consistent exercise of appropriate judgment and discretion in evaluating risk associated with marketing initiatives.
Assist the Corporate team with the maintenance and presentation of corporate marketing materials.

Required:
6 years of experience as a paralegal in the area of corporate or product marketing, trademarks, copyrights, and privacy with at least 2 years in-house, preferably, at a tech company;
Experience with establishing and implementing processes and procedures for conducting consistent marketing reviews;
Assisted in developing and delivering training;
Strong analytical skills and detailed oriented;
Ability to appropriately triage a heavy workflow, set appropriate priorities with clients and deliver results efficiently;
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to advocate for a position while maintaining a collaborative and open-minded approach; and
Good sense of humor, interest for learning new things and desire to get things done.
Desired:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Paralegal Certification.
Location:
This role will be remote, and based in the USA.
Minimal travel is anticipated.

The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is
$90,752.00
- $124,784.00
Non-Sales: Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state. This role is also eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
