Position Description:
HomeWell Care Services of Northwest Austin is interested in finding compassionate caregivers and personal assistants to work in the Austin, Georgetown, Cedar Park, Round Rock, Hutto, Wimberly and surrounding areas. We are in the business of serving others from our heart and helping our elderly age comfortably in place, wherever home is for them.
The Caregiver is responsible for assisting clients with the tasks of daily living as outlined in a written care plan that is established, provided by and is kept in the client’s place of residence. The Caregiver is supervised by the Care Manager and will receive scheduling direction from the Staffing Coordinator.

Job Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand and personally assist clients according to their care plan which may include:
Support/personally assist the client to ensure comfortability in their place of residence
Helping w/ non-medical tasks that include but are not limited to the following Meal Preparation
Bathing
Body Care
Toiling
Dressing
Feeding
Medication Reminders
Light - extensive house keeping at the clients request
Transportation as needed
Shopping
Ambulation
Positioning and transferring
Assist with toileting
Protective supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess excellent verbal communication skills.
Must have available/reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance.
Must be available to work a flexible schedule Full Time/Part Time work is available
Provide social companionship by providing Life Enrichment Support such as exercising. Encourage water intake for hydration and more
Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position.
Must exhibit mature, responsible behavior, caring, punctual and reliable.
Have verifiable professional references.
Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by state).
Notify the Client Service Director of client concerns, changes in care or client condition and client emergencies.
*CNA is a plus; but not required.

12 Hours
(8 AM - 8 PM) (8 PM- 8 PM)
72 Hours Live-In Shifts
Salary: $13.00 to $15.00/hour
