The Office of EEO and Title IX Compliance is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant/Office Manager to provide administrative support on a full-time basis for two administrators. The Office is responsible for reviewing confidential complaints of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. This is a full-time benefits-eligible position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Establishing and managing a department investigation records database
• Managing other department records (electronic and hard copy)
• Handling training inquiries and generating reports in the learning management system
• Compiling information and exhibits for investigation reports
• Managing calendars and scheduling meetings for the department administration
• Proofreading and formatting documents, presentations, correspondence, and reports
• Answering telephone calls, letters and email from faculty, staff, students, and members of the community; greeting department visitors
• Processing department purchases, expenses, and reviewing mail; ordering department supplies
• Performing general internet research
Required Qualifications:
• At least 8 years of office work experience required
• A Bachelor’s degree or commensurate, related work experience required
• Excellent communication, technology, and math skills are required
• Ability to maintain confidential information, including information protected by the attorney-client privilege
• Ability to organize and manage multiple projects and to appropriately prioritize workload
