Our Acute Stabilization Unit is hiring an Administrative Assistant to provide support to the Program Manager in daily operations, act as a liaison with outside referral sources, and coordinate admission to the program. The Administrative Assistant will assist in the implementation of the electronic health records, help close files in the computer system, and support interdepartmental efforts with our HI and billing departments. You will also be responsible for processing and completing work according to established formats and procedures, meeting deadlines, using creativity for various projects and form design (i.e. filing, word processing, database management). In this role you will provide administrative support to the Vice President of Acute Services, Team Managers, and all clinical staff including reception, staff scheduling, and ordering supplies. We are looking for a candidate who has administrative experience, knowledge of office management procedures, and strong organizational skills. Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task is a must! Responsible for scheduling unit staff training events and assist in tracking and supporting unit budget on a weekly and monthly basis. At least one year experience in community mental health and/or rehabilitation field preferred, including working knowledge of health information, and related policy, procedures, and regulations.
Education/Licensing Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Must possess reliable transportation, auto insurance, and a valid driver’s license. Working knowledge of graphic designs, typography, general marketing principles, and general office procedures and equipment.
