What is the role?

This role has been established as part of the Global Litigation Organization for the purpose of providing administrative support to lawyers and paralegals handling the department's litigation matters and regulatory challenges in the United States in a proactive, timely, cost effective and professional manner in furtherance of business objectives and protection of shareholder interests.

You will report to the Litigation Support Team Lead and also be able to take work direction from attorneys, paralegals, and other team members.

On a day to day basis, your role will word process, copy, fax, prepare presentations, file, schedule meetings and teleconferences, coordinate travel arrangements and prepare expense statement. You will assist in setting up new employee's offices/work stations ; manage work group office supplies; troubleshoot office machine problems, submit maintenance request, as needed. You will participate in special projects; coordinate with Legal and Global Litigation colleagues in numerous countries, up to and including members of the Global LLT and his/her staff.

Requirements:

What we need from you

The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate / possess most of the following skills / attributes:


Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Minimum five (5 ) years’ secretarial experience required. Prior Legal secretary experience preferred.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite and and the willingness to learn other applications as required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to multi-task and work under pressure. Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions. Ability to perform a variety of important and sometimes urgent, confidential, and complex tasks.
Must exhibit a positive attitude, be flexible, and be an effective team player. Must demonstrate the ability to work well with all levels of personnel and work with minimal direction/supervision.
Proficiency in reading/writing/communicating in Spanish preferred.
