Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Administrative Services, the Associate Director for Administrative Services is responsible for providing overall leadership, coordination, solicitation and supervision for the university summer camps and conferences program, coordinates Housing & Residence Life project management and facilities management as it relates to community spaces in a manner that is complimentary to the mission and vision of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.. The Associate Director supervises a fulltime employees in the Director's absence and student employees supporting summer conferences and facility operations.
The Associate Director for Administrative Services oversees the planning and implementation of all aspects of conference services and is responsible for day-to-day administration and supervision of services in accordance with the overall program goals and objectives. The Associate Director for Administrative Services will also be responsible for generating new revenue through solicitation of new camps and conferences. The position will manage all residence hall community room reservations, event management and facilities management as it relates to meeting space and events year-round.
Serving as the primary Housing & Residence Life point of contact for University recruitment and engagement events, the Associate Director for Administrative Services will serve as the liaison between Enrollment Management and Housing and Residence Life supporting all recruitment events.
The position will ensure excellent customer service and program delivery across all facets of conferences, events, University recruitment, and departmental peak times.
The position will serve as the project management liaison for assigned Administrative Services projects and will manage the Project Coordinator year-round while also overseeing student satisfaction with facilities as part of the customer program.
Given the nature of the positions in Student Engagement & Enrollment Services that provide support to student services and/or student-centered programs, the employee occupying this position may be required to work during a university closing. There may be occasions where the employee will be asked to work during university closings as directed by his or her supervisor. These instances may also include working from a remote location (i.e. telework, etc.).

Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in higher education, hospitality management or related field with extensive experience in the Hospitality, Conference Services or Event Management industries. Some staff supervision experience including hiring, training, and evaluation. Some experience in sales and marketing to conferences, events, catering, and camps. Some experience in creating and maintaining project management documents. Experienced in exercising a client-centered philosophy. Excellent administrative and organizational skills with problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Demonstrated success in working effectively with diverse customers and in a diverse environment. Proven aptitude with MS Office, report generation, CRM and/or event management software. Excellent team building skills. Ability to create and execute a vision while motivating others. Ability to work a flexible schedule to include some evenings and weekend.
