The Mail Order/OTC Pharmacy Distribution Clerk 1 processes and dispenses or directly supports the processing and dispensing of Traditional and Over The Counter prescription orders to be mailed to patients homes and handles complex and/or escalated issues. The Mail Order/OTC Pharmacy Distribution Clerk 1 performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments.

Enclara, is a wholly owned hospice and palliative care pharmacy business acquired by Humana in 2021. Enclara is the nation's largest full-service pharmacy benefits manager (PBM) specifically for the hospice and palliative care sectors. Serving over 450 customers and nearly 100,000 patients nationally, Enclara works closely with hospices to reduce pharmacy costs, improve patient care and support caregivers through: digital innovations, flexible medication access, one-on-one clinical support, and excellent customer service.

Schedule : Monday through Friday, 2:30PM to 11:00PM CST with rotating weekends

The Pharmacy Distribution Clerk 1 supports the processing of prescription orders to be mailed to patients through work in the packing area of the pharmacy. The Pharmacy Distribution Clerk 1 performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks in the packing area. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments.

The Pharmacy Distribution Clerk 1 supports prescription order processing by:


Ensuring medications, paperwork and supplies are packed appropriately according to standard operating procedure, including those that require special handling.
Ensuring patient packages are labeled appropriately for shipping by the assigned carrier.
Performing other administrative or support tasks in the packing department as assigned by pharmacy management.


Required Qualifications


Ability to stand in one location for up to 8 to 10 hours
Less than 2 years of Mail Order Pharmacy or Manufacturing Experience
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences


Preferred Qualifications


High School Diploma or GED
