Description
The Manager of Sales Administration provides direction and leads office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees as well as working closely with the sales team and Director. The Manager of Sales Administration work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
The Manager of Sales Administration acts as a liaison with sales compliance, paying audits, meeting planning, supports the sales team activities, answers internal and customer inquiries, and helps their aligned market reach their Sales goals. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments, managing sales data and reporting on customer and associate sales activity. In charge of the support of pre-sales activity. Supervise a team of administrative associates of sales forecasting and support professionals. The MSA oversees the market's regulatory compliance including allegations, licensing, certifications, trainings, field evaluations, etc. and provide visibility to the management. In charge of coordinating continuous education credits and processing license renewals for marketing specialists and sales representatives. Drafts sales documentation, proposals, reports, and correspondence such as sales contracts and maintenance agreements. Communicates with staff from other areas in the organization to confirm the status of orders and resolve customer complaints.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or a related field
3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or related field
2 years of administrative experience working in either sales, insurance or a related industry
Active Health & Disability Insurance Licenses in Puerto Rico (Or Provisional Licenses active). Any associate who is hired with Provisional Licenses has 180 days to acquire the regular licenses. In the event that DOI provides a testing date past the 180 days window, associates will need to inform their leader. Failure to comply will result in termination of employment.
Bilingual English/Spanish. Basic level of communication skills in English (Ability to write, read and communicate in English). Candidate selected will not be communicating in English with members
Ability to organize, manage and lead multiple priorities, projects and initiatives
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Must be self-motivated with a positive attitude
Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Technologically savvy to include high level use of laptop and mobile phone devices, proficient use of Microsoft Office suite and an understanding of or comparable knowledge of CRM tools and other sales/marketing resources
Must be able to lift boxes up to 40 lbs.
Must be willing to interact with customers in a face to face environment
Will need to collaborate routinely with a diverse workgroup
You must live within a commutable distance of the territory specified in the job posting.
This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits

Additional Information
COVID VACCINATION: Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field. Every associate and contractor who work inside a Humana facility or in the field, regardless of vaccination status, must complete a daily health-screening questionnaire.
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.

Hybrid Office : The Humana office is an associate's primary work location where the majority of their work week will be spent, but they will work occasionally from home to support focus work and work/life balance needs.
