Starting Pay $22.00
With a yearly merit increase of 3%
Shift Differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts

Qualified applicants can receive a $3,500* bonus!
$1,500 at 3 months, $1,000 at 6 months, and $1,000 at one year.
Work Shift: Monday - Friday
2nd Shift (weekends and overtime as needed)
Summary:
Liaison between Traffic, Sales and Production to be sure all loads are loaded correctly. Maintain and improve procedures for inventory control and shipments of Tyson products within the SAP (ERP) system and PkMS (warehouse management) system. Develop procedures and criteria for performance measurement to be utilized in managing the deployment process. Participate in the reconciliation of physical inventory of materials and the periodic cycle counting of products. Analyze, recommend, and implement improvements to control the inventory and improve service levels.
Essential duties & responsibilities:
Enter product weights and quantities of customer orders for pickups or route deliveries in computer system. Disperse assigned task to shipping clerks as directed by the Shipping Supervisor. Create and print individual bills of lading for customers. Print a master bill of lading for loads going out on outside carriers. Ensure product codes, quantities and dates being shipped against picking slips. Arrange loads in proper order for loading onto delivery/pick up vehicles. Assist in vacation relief for shipping vacations.
Qualifications:
A two year degree with an emphasis in Materials and Logistics Management or technical college degree is preferred. 3-5 years’ experience in Materials Management, Scheduling, Manufacturing, or Logistics required. Proficiency of computerized inventory control (MRPII) systems, preferred. Proficiency of PC based spreadsheets, word processors, and database applications, required. Ability to develop systems for cost improvement and increased work capacities is necessary.
