What We’re Looking For:
The Manager, Office of the CMO works alongside the CMO, prioritizing projects and initiatives in line with the CMO’s and the company’s goals. The Manager, Office of the CMO’s primary duty is to enhance the executive's effectiveness by providing a bird’s eye view of the entire marketing organization to help develop team-wide goals, drive organizational initiatives and completing special projects on behalf of the CMO. Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Project Management/Executive Coordination
Create agendas/meeting materials for CMO's meetings and follow through on action items.
Coordinate and drive accountability for Marketing Global Priorities. Manage update cadence and insure regular review with marketing leadership.
Oversee internship program including event
Prep the CMO for all upcoming meetings and engagements as deemed necessary.
Lead projects that support emerging business needs (including facilities needs, software and tool licensing needs, vendor agreements, etc).
Communications
Develop and execute an annual communications plan across the marketing team utilizing technology assets in accordance with the Communications & Engagement team’s best practices with a goal of creating a more transparent and empowered culture.
Build slide decks, emails and documentation needed by the CMO and their senior team to ensure all team meetings and internal and external events are successful.
Partner with the communications and engagement team for both internal and external storytelling opportunities on behalf of the CMO and marketing.
Development, DE&I & People Strategy
Act as a strategic partner to the marketing team and those both internally and externally who liaise with it to help clarify and develop project strategy, objectives, work through challenges, and guide individuals towards metrics for success.
Partner closely with HR and recruiting to develop recruiting strategies and metrics to achieve marketing's diversity goals.
Own all marketing DE&I and development initiatives in partnership with HR and leadership. This includes driving the marketing innovation competition and culture & inclusion committee.
Create and own a well-distributed and robust internship program for the US marketing team.
Liaise between business resource networks, marketing culture committee & marketing leadership to further enhance marketing's DE&I efforts.
Administrative Management
Hire, oversee and develop a Marketing Assistant who is point on scheduling events, meetings and providing administrative support for the CMO and senior marketing leaders.
Develop and manage Marketing's T&E budget.
Own the execution of cross team meetings and events including partner meetings, offsites, and all team meetings.
Assist the CMO's direct reports & Chief Data Scientist with cross-functional special projects as needed.
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
BA/BS or equivalent work experience
3-5 years in an executive administrative, chief of staff role or similar experience
Experience and ability to work with staff and executives of all levels internally and externally
Passion for DE&I and employee development
Experience at a fast-paced, high-growth company
Ability to work autonomously with little direction
Previous use with all Google apps
Effective organizational skills and highly detail-oriented
Impeccable verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; thrives off of building relationships
Experience in internal communications planning and development (preferred)
Experience in project management (preferred)
Experience in digital marketing and/or recruiting a plus
