POSITION
The successful applicant will be required to undertake a full-time role working a minimum of 38 hours per week.
REQUIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful for this position, the applicant must hold the following:
Relevant Certificate III or above
A minimum of 1-year relevant work experience
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Account Clerk will be responsible for a variety of tasks that surround the monitoring and maintenance of relevant creditor and debtor accounts. This must be done in a timely manner while also ensuring all financial data is managed and stored effectively and in compliance with the companies’ policies and procedures. In this role, they will be overseeing overheads and operating costs including but not limited to wages, invoices, and income.
POSITION DUTIES
Undertake Accounts Payable and Receivable and ensure all related documentation is prepared, processed, and stored correctly.
Reconcile all business invoices and ensure payments are dispatched in a timely and accurate manner.
Complete research and analyze any additional expenditures irregular or regular such as wages or standard costs.
Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate and report any discrepancies.
Collate and summarize expenditures and receipts.
Maintain budget accounts and where necessary allocate relevant expenditures to these.
Create and update records relating to standard costs and value items including food products and packing supplies.
Record cost and contract prices and identify when these have changed.
Compile all relevant data to refer to in relevant operating budgets and profit and loss calculations.
Provide necessary support to Directors through the compilation of data into reports of total costs, inventory adjustments, selling prices and profit.
SALARY
The successful candidate will receive a salary from $55,000 to $70,000 based on relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
Superannuation and tax paid in addition to this in accordance with the relevant legislation.
