Description
The Care Management Support Assistant 2 contributes to administration of care management. Provides non-clinical support to the assessment and evaluation of members' needs and requirements to achieve and/or maintain optimal wellness state by guiding members/families toward and facilitate interaction with resources appropriate for the care and wellbeing of members. The Care Management Support Assistant 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.
Responsibilities
The Care Management Support Assistant 2 contributes to administration of care management.
Provides non-clinical support to the assessment and evaluation of members' needs and requirements to achieve and/or maintain optimal wellness state by guiding members/families toward and facilitate interaction with resources appropriate for the care and well-being of members.
Performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments mainly with authorizing services based on specified criteria and researching claims issues stemming from authorization errors.
Required Qualifications
ACHA Level II Fingerprints required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
2 years Administrative support experience
2 years Data Entry Experience
Ability to work with multiple screens and databases
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
The ability to manage multiple or competing priorities.
Detailed oriented.
Must reside in Florida
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's Degree.
Administrative support experiences working in a healthcare industry.
Billing and claims experiences.
Work at Home Requirements
Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings
Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance of is required
