Aon Is Looking For an Executive AssistantAs part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our global claims team, located in New York. This role would be a hybrid opportunity.   Your Impact As An Executive AssistantProvide administrative and support duties for Global Chief Claims Officer of Aon’s Commercial Risk solution line supporting him and his team of senior colleagues in their role coordinating the activities of 1800 colleagues around the world.This position has access to and regularly works with client information of the most sensitive, highly confidential, strategic, and critical nature and the successful applicant must constantly display high levels of integrity.  Job Responsibilities:Organization of meetings (in person and virtual) including with clients, insurers, other business partners and colleaguesManagement of diary (Microsoft Outlook), travel arrangements (using in-house travel agency) and associated authorizationsAssistance in meeting preparation, to include file creation.Assistance in preparation of presentation materials (Microsoft PowerPoint) using items from previous presentations, but also creating new items which have appropriate content and visual impactAssistance in project and initiative coordination, using organizational skills to track progress against agreed plans and to follow-up on behalf of leadershipCommunicate in person and through correspondence (email), including with high level contacts inside and outside the company such as senior leadership, clients and business partnersCompose and type correspondence, memos, presentations, organizational charts and other confidential materials.Prepare travel and expense reports for Global Chief Claims OfficerFile correspondence and other records electronically.Manage records and generate reports for Global Chief Claims Officer from Aon’s proprietary Claims Resolution Platform, an industry leading application used to serve clientsUndertake various duties as assigned. You Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseHigh School Diploma required; Associate/Bachelor’s Degree preferred.Possesses over 10 years of secretarial/administrative experience. Insurance and / or claims management administrative support experience or background preferred, but not required.Is able to maintain confidentiality related to private and confidential business matters.Is highly organized, with strong multi-tasking skills.Strong attention to detail.Ability to interact with personnel at all levels.Must have excellent verbal/written skills.Proficient in MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint required.
