Job Description:
What is the role?
The Business Services Representative is responsible for various administrative activities and support of the business for a 24hr 7 days per week Catalyst Manufacturing facility. They have a primary role for local timekeeping of hourly personnel, coordinate business related activities and events, perform various record keeping and administrative activities related to IR and serve as the Site ISO Focal Point .
The below outlines some principal accountabilities:
Provide payroll and scheduling support for Hourly personnel.
Provide record keeping activities, such as tracking attendance incidents, maintain Seniority lists, execute the “Bidding” system, along with the qualification lists and OOCL managemen.
Serve as the site’s ISO Focal Point; including the coordination, planning and facilitation of ISO audits that pertain to the site.
Perform various administrative functions, such as the collection of documents during the on-boarding and/or off-boarding process, publication & posting of documents on site bulletin boards;
Act as the site Focal Point for Shell Health in coordinating and scheduling drug screening and Return to Work medical clearances;
Coordinate various business related activities and events;
Maintain inventories of administrative supplies including those for office equipment;
Reduce HSSE risks by participating in the site HSSE programs, as well as work to address identifiable hazards when applicable.
Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
Contribute as an Individual to the safe and environmentally sound plant operations.
Achieve SC&T HSSE expectations.
Respond to hazards immediately by reducing risks, reporting incidents and participation in HSSE programs.

Requirements:
What we need from you
The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate / possess most of the following skills / attributes:
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field.
Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience working in a manufacturing work environment.
Experience processing hourly payroll;
Experience working under and coordinating activities within Quality Management Systems, ideally ISO-9001;
Possess strong computer, organizational and time management skills;
Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing to all levels of the company
Ability to communicate on the phone, read & comprehend written material.
Ability to write policies, correspondence, prepare and make presentations to groups.
Possess good employee relations and community relations skills;
Ability to work in excess of the normal 40-hour workweek, including non-standard hours as required by business needs.
Ability to travel as required for training and company business;
Ability to access, unassisted, all required areas of the facility.
