Description
The Administrative Assistant 2 provides support to the Rosslyn VA office, The Administrative Assistant 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.
Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant 2 role will work in support of 4 DC based Management Team members along with multiple SVP's and VP's who work out of the Rosslyn office, but whose primary administrative support is based in Louisville KY.
The individual will work in the office and assist with coordination of internal and external meetings, escorting and greeting guest to the office, and providing support as needed amenities. Uses office equipment such as photocopiers, faxes, and printers.
Additional responsibilities may include distributing incoming mail, preparing outgoing mail, filing, maintaining office supplies or other inventory.
Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments.
Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction.
Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.
For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home. Required Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to manage multiple or competing priorities
Strong attention to detail
Capacity to maintain confidentiality
Strong organizational skills
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Ability to balance multiple initiatives and prioritize workload
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access
Previous administrative or related experiences
