High school diploma required and twelve months or more of university, community college, trade or technical school. Experience in Microsoft Office is required.
Working Relationships:
The Executive Assistant is responsible to the Administrator and the Director of Surgical Services at Saint Joseph East. The Executive Secretary is in daily contact with co-workers, directors and senior hospital executives. May have contact with physicians/medical staff, patients/families, temporary/contract employees, other hospitals/medical facilities/physicians' offices and auditors/attorneys. Incumbent may have access to restricted or confidential patient information and must comply with the terms of Saint Joseph HealthCare HIPAA Privacy, Security and Internet Acceptable Use policies as it relates to the Associate's job role.
Language:
Adequate conversational English is required in order that the individual be able to take direction from management, understand how to complete job tasks, communicate adequately with patients and co-workers as necessary, understand and follow safety guidelines, and understand the Associate Handbook and all hospital policies.
