Research Medical Center is currently looking for a PBX Operator - PRN.

 

The PBX Operator answers incoming calls and
assists callers by transferring calls to appropriate areas.  Pages physicians and hospital personnel on
the public address system and pagers. 
Initiates emergency procedures and monitors multiple alarms and the HEAR
radio system.  Maintains accurate records
of emergency events, alarms received and on-call sheets.  Provides backup for patient information.  Performs all assignments while providing good
customer service to all callers.

 ','!*!Minimum Qualifications: ·     Education:  High school graduate or equivalent       ·     Experience:  At last one year experience operating a switchboard or as a     receptionist with multiple line phone responsibility. Basic understanding of medical terminology required.·     Administrative Skills:  Must be able to type at last 60 WPM·     Equipment/Machine Skills:  Multiple line phone or switchboard skills.  Basic   computer skills.  Experience with Word & Excel would be helpful.·     Other Skills:  Proven customer service skills in working with public and in   emergency situations.','PBX Operator PRN
