Write about cannabis news in Australia
We’re looking for an eager pro-cannabis writer to cover cannabis news across Australia.
You’ll be covering all states (including Tasmania) and all sorts of topics.
Medicinal marijuana, legalisation, major (and sometimes small) cannabis busts, research, some international news, and more. If it’s got something to do with cannabis in Australia – you’ll be likely covering it.
On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, you’ll receive a list of 2 – 3 articles to cover. You’ll cover them and send them back the next day. The project is ongoing and will last months.
This isn’t a full-time position. Australian applicants are preferred. Native English required.
Pay is $0.02 to $0.05 per word, depending on your experience and quality of writing. You’ll be paid on a fortnightly basis.
Selected applicants will be asked to take part in a trial (non-paid). The trial task will consist of covering one, real news story – no more than 300 words.
In your proposal, please mention cannabis gummy bears are delicious and how much your fee per word is.
