Description
The Medicaid Business Development (BD) Business Support Coordinator 2 follows established procedures and guidelines to provide timely and effective clerical support to the Vice President of Medicaid Business Development. The Business Support Coordinator 2 will report to the Medicaid BD Chief of Staff and perform varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.
Responsibilities
The Medicaid (BD) Business Support Coordinator 2 gathers, compiles, and verifies information and enters it accurately into documents such as reports, presentations or forms; and office systems such as databases or spreadsheets.
Responds to, or redirects, inquiries from external or internal sources about the organization, its activities, or processes. Ensures stakeholders are answered promptly and accurately.
Performs other routine administrative activities according to the organization's established procedures. These activities may include calendar management, scheduling meetings, distributing incoming mail, preparing outgoing mail, photocopying, filing, operating office equipment and maintaining office supplies or other inventory.
Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction.
Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.
Required Qualifications
2 years of administrative support experience or related experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of basic Excel functions such entering and sorting data and saving and opening workbooks etc.
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and initiatives with strong organizational skills.
Capacity to maintain confidentiality and strong attention to detail.
For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home. If progressed to offer, you will be required to: Provide proof of full vaccination OR
Commit to weekly testing, following all CDC protocols, OR

Preferred Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor's Degree.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Work Hours/Days:
Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm EST.

If participating in a SMS Text interview, you will be asked a series of questions to which you will be using your cell phone or computer to answer the questions provided. Expect this type of interview to last anywhere from 5-10 minutes. Your recorded interview(s) via text and/or pre-recorded voice will be reviewed and you will subsequently be informed if you will be moving forward to next round of interviews
