Medical Receptionist - VSP / Float San Antonio

Conviva is seeking a dedicated, compassionate and cheerful - RECEPTIONIST - who is interested in being a part of something great! Due to company needs, we anticipate a need to hire variable staffing in the receptionist role for our clinics. The receptionist will be covering PTO, Sick calls and on a PRN basis. They will float between San Antonio clinics.

Job Functions:


Welcomes patients and visitors
Comforts and assists patients, answering patients' questions
Maintains the reception area
Helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies
Appointment scheduling
Verification of insurances
Collecting patient charges


Requirements:


High School Diploma or GED
Must be a team player with excellent communication skills
Willingness to learn and be cross trained in other roles based on business need
Six months to one year of relevant experience and /or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Excellent Customer Service and phone etiquette.
Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)


This role is considered patient facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

Working Hours:

Training will require two weeks at 40 hours/per week

This role is a Variable Staffing Pool (VSP), similar to a PRN role.

This role is a float position for the San Antonio Market (to include Floresville and New Braunfels)

Hours can change and vary based on business needs.

The standard hours of the clinic are Monday to Friday 8AM - 5PM
