Our ideal candidate has a genuine passion for people, systems, and organization, all with the intention of providing a seamless in-office experience for our employees and visitors.
In this fast-paced role, your day can include a multitude of responsibilities, like tracking inventory supplies, planning internal events, arranging successful deliveries, and making sure that anyone who visits the office is promptly welcomed. This position is perfect for someone who has a hard time sitting still, so if you like wearing multiple hats and juggling competing priorities, keep reading!
What you’ll do:
Support all aspects of office functionality, organization, and brand aesthetic
Track and sustain inventory of office supplies and materials
Organize and execute corporate-related events, including happy hours, speaker series, Hackathons, and birthday celebrations
Coordinate between employees and external mail carriers for all deliveries and pickups
Foster professional development of the reception host and facilities associate through regular one-on-one meetings
Vet, incorporate and report all office environmental initiatives (e.g., composting, sourcing green office supplies, and eliminating as much plastic and paper waste as possible)
Coordinate with office third party vendors (e.g., office supplies vendors, shredding services, pest control)
Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks as they pop up (e.g., arranging corporate travel, looking into event venues, and coordinating schedules for meeting rooms)
Who you are:
Backed by 3 years of experience in event and/or hospitality management
A hard worker with a positive, can-do attitude
Comfortable tackling problems head-on and adapting to shifting priorities
A resourceful self-starter with a no-task-too-small approach
Always on top of things and unflappably professional
Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)
