Description
The Inventory Planning Clerk 2 ensures security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, and system review. The Inventory Planning Clerk 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.
Responsibilities
Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30AM to 4:00PM EST
Summary:
Cycle count procedures maintained and audit trails established for inventory adjustments according to company accounting standards. Accurately prepares physical inventory adjustment records for approval. Other duties and projects as assigned are generally related to inventory management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Run A, B & C classifications of the cycle count process, including maintaining cycle count schedules (includes controlled substances CIII-CV and non-controlled substances)
Researches all variances in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
Report audit results to Team Lead and Manager, Inventory Analytics
Assist in SOP procedural audits and document compliance in reports
Fulfillment Supply and Inventory Audits
Assist in internal physical inventory financial audits as needed
Facilitates the achievement of record keeping system requirements, supporting organizational goals. Collaborates with others in a way that builds trust, confidence in our record keeping systems.
Other duties related to Fulfillment - Inventory operations as required
Qualifications:
Communicates clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
Listens actively and effectively to solicit, clarify and understand verbal and non-verbal messages.
Presents ideas and perspectives in a manner that increases the likelihood of their acceptance.
Ability to count physical inventory, standing, lifting up to 10 lbs
Understands DEA and State Board of Pharmacy record keeping requirements
Precision, accuracy, and organizational skills are critical
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in inventory control systems
Computer Skills:
Proficient in MS Excel or has experience with inventory management software systems
