The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), part of the State University of New York and an internationally renowned college of art, design, business and technology with a strong emphasis on liberal arts, invites applications for a Temporary COVID-19 Compliance Coordinator in the Human Resources department.
Job Description:
Coordinate HR response team in the efficient execution of Covid testing, contract tracing, and compliance protocols.
On-call support during day, evening, and/or weekend.
Follow defined protocols regarding positive case and quarantine.
Responsible for accurate communications in the event of a positive case, including completing the existing communication templates for distribution, and contacting close contacts via email.
Support with vaccination status records
Update internal and external materials (Google docs, sheets, web) with any change in process and protocols.
As needed, support with coordination with testing and other services

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
Associate Degree
Minimum of three years professional experience in customer service, data entry, office management or operations required
Requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and good follow-through ability
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to support working through Communicates with cases and stakeholders in a professional and empathetic manner.
Familiarity with basic office technology and virtual work tools, including Zoom and Google Suite.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance
Preferred Qualifications
Previous work experience with contact tracing during COVID-19
Knowledge of health and safety, including a basic understanding of COVID-19 science, prevention, and response
Comfortable in educational and unionized work environment
