Football Analyst

Position Summary

The Analyst for the Football Program will provide the coaches with statistical reports, including self-scouting, game film analysis and opponent tendency details. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Provide the coaches with statistical reports, including self-scouting, game film analysis and opponent tendency details

Handle opponent breakdowns and scouting report materials

Prepare scouting reports for upcoming opponents

Work directly with operations and activities as well as generate comprehensive scouting reports on opponents

Break down opponent game film and analyze their tendencies

Break down vast amounts of information and analyze opponents’ statistical tendencies to assist the coaches in their preparations

Oversee film breakdown for statistical tendencies and assist in the game-plan preparation as well as the planning and production of the offensive playbook

Special projects as assigned

Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree required.

At least two years of experience working at the NCAA or NFL level. Experience with game film analysis, scouting reports and game-plan preparation.

Knowledge of NCAA rules anda commitment to adhere to the policies, rules and regulations of MSU, the Big Ten Conference and the NCAA.

Desired Qualifications

Previous experience with the following programs: XOS Thunder, XOS Thundercloud,Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Visio and Stats Ice.
