Profile

We have an opening for a Legal Practice Assistant to provide support to attorneys in our Real Estate Environmental and Land Use practice group.  This position is resident in our New Haven office.  We are seeking an experienced and organized individual who can juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for extensive client contact and scheduling, front desk reception duties, calendar and meeting management, document production, expense tracking and reconciliation, time entry and client billing. The ideal candidate must thrive in an environment that is client-focused, fast-paced and deadline driven.  In addition, the ideal candidate must possess solid oral and written communication skills, excellent organizational and time management skills.  The ability to work well under pressure, strong attention to detail and accuracy as well as being proactive in prioritizing work is necessary. Strong document production skills and the ability to utilize advanced features of Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, is required.
