Opportunity available for Legal Administrative Assistant with a minimum of one year of litigation experience. Responsibilities include providing administrative support to attorneys in Litigation Practice Group. Duties include, but not limited to:
Preparing pleadings and filing documents with the courts, including e-filings
Scheduling depositions
Assisting with trial preparation
Interacting with clients
Composing routine business correspondence
Scheduling/arranging meetings
Coordination of attorneys’ calendars
Opening/closing files and file maintenance
Other similar administrative duties
In addition to a minimum of one year of litigation experience, additional qualifications include excellent written and oral communication skills, proactive work ethic, attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple tasks/deadlines. Strong day-to-day organizational skills, a client service focus and ability to work as part of a team are essential. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Word.
