The medical oncology clinical associate, under the direction of a Registered Nurse performs specialized patient care functions for oncology patients in a fast-paced environment. Delivers patient care in an outcome-oriented, safe, therapeutic, compassionate and cost effective manner. Through skilled triage and assessment, education, collaboration and coordination of healthcare and community resources, the CA assists patients to achieve optimum functional health status and quality of life.
Work Location: Washington D.C.
Full time 7am - 5pm
Minimum Requirements:
1.High school graduate or equivalent.
2.Certified Nursing Assistance license or equivalent, comparable training/job experience and ability to demonstrate needed skills.
3.CPR training is required; basic life support training/certification.
4.Three (3) years clinical experience of which at least one (1) year is oncology experience preferred.
