Student Worker Medical Assistant
u
nder direct supervision of the on-site physician, assists in the delivery of patient
care. Performs delegated medical tasks and may perform clerical duties.
What You Need to Be Successful:
High school graduate or equivalent. Concurrent enrollment in an accredited Medical Assistant program with permission of instructor or department chair.
Demonstrated skill in venipuncture.
Knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques.
Knowledge of blood and body fluid precautions.
