Duties
Coordinate annual review meetings
for the Director of Professional Development
Manage daily review schedule
and compile daily review packets
Track review statuses, providing
the professional development department daily status updates
Schedule quarterly meetings
for the Director of Professional Development (including scheduling conference
rooms and catering; keeping tracks of invites etc.) in connection with
part-time staff, quarterly practice area staffing meetings and mentoring
committee meetings and debriefings
Maintain relevant review scheduling
charts and documents for department
Maintain Professional Development
webpage
General administrative assistance
on ad-hoc projects
Input diary entries at the end
of each business day
Phone coverage of the Director
and neighboring attorneys’ phone extensions and taking messages for same
Handle expense reimbursement
forms for the Director and certain PD team members and neighboring attorneys
on a monthly basis
Schedule meetings and maintain
calendar for the Director and certain neighboring attorneys
Special Projects as needed
Required
2 years of human resources,
recruiting or professional development administrative assistant experience
Exceptional calendar and project
management organization
Excellent interpersonal, client
service, and written and verbal communication skills
Highly detail-oriented with
proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Bachelor’s degree
