The Human Resources (HR) Assistant will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources team and excellent customer service to team members of the Firm. The HR Assistant will have the opportunity to learn about all aspects and core functions of the Human Resources department and will be an integral part of the success of the team. This employee must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive materials, and maintain strict confidentiality due to the nature of the position.
Successful candidates are eager to utilize technology to improve process efficiency, provide best in class service, and thrive organizing and coordinating a variety of tasks, all while working seamlessly as part of a broader team.
Essential Job Duties:
•Work with a diverse group of individuals and provide exceptional customer service
•Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions accurately and promptly
•Assist with and coordinate various projects
•Flexibility to serve as backup for staff recruiting and onboarding as needed
•Maintain employee data and communications
•Maintain the Human Resources department page on the intranet, including updating documents and policies
•Maintain calendars, coordinate travel, schedule meetings, and reserve conference rooms as requested
•Collection and electronic filing of employee information and documentation
•Manage data and HR reporting in the Human Capital Management system
•Create reports and update employee information as requested
•Process department invoices and expense reports
•Provide assistance with HR administration, including but not limited to benefits, compensation, performance, compliance and recruiting
•Assist in maintaining and tracking the Human Resources budget
Minimum Requirements:
•High school diploma required
•3-5 years of experience in customer service
•Ability to research and analyze various types of data
•Ability to coordinate multiple projects and operate under tight deadlines
•Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with a diverse group of individuals
•Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a high degree of diplomacy
•Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
•Ability to perform all essential duties
