JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Assistant Director of Nursing in Day Program Services reports directly to the Director of Nursing. Responsible for providing Nursing oversight to assigned programs by assessing, planning, providing, and directing nursing care and health-related services. ADON of DPS will train direct support staff as required by OPWDD, and provide administrative support and clinical supervision to Registered Nurses across all Day Programs.
An employee in this class is responsible for overseeing the Day Programs nursing team, communicating with Residential Assistant Director or Nursing about the program, assisting with systems development, performing professional nursing services, and assigning work as requested.

Requirements
5 years of nursing experience with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (OR) 3 years experience as Assistant Director of Nursing
Valid NYS RN License
