We have an opening for a Legal Practice Assistant to provide support to a team of paralegals who support our Trust & Estates Practice Group. This position is resident in our Hartford office. The successful candidate will be responsible for complex document production, file organization and management, time entry and billing, scheduling client meetings as well as other administrative tasks.
We are seeking a self-starter who has excellent technical skills and can produce documents with a high degree of accuracy. The successful candidate will possess a professional demeanor, strong attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills, as well as proficiency in the use of the advanced features of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The ability to work overtime at peak times and the ability to adapt to new and changing priorities is required. Three to five years of trust and estates experience is desired.
